Owner: Peter & Cheryl Dunkel – California
This 1955 (Harry Keeler) Porsche was originally raced by Carl Bluford in
Europe, and was at SCCA events in the late 1960s. The current owners
acquired the car about 20 years ago, and it has been in storage until recently
when they started a complete renovation. This car has been registered in the
history of Porsche 550 Spyders, and is the first car Porsche put an upper
rail frame in to stiffen the chassis. The car has a full tunnel that wraps
around the driver.
