A Good Drive, with Good Friends for a Good Cause...
Which Leads to an Intimate Gathering
Throughout Quail Lodge’s forty-two year history, special events have produced many wonderful and memorable experiences for our guests: from Star Gazing, Concerts by the Lake, Charitable Golf Tournaments to Motorsports Gatherings. Each of these unforgettable events are designed to support our community by generating funds to programs which help those in need. They would not be possible without the philanthropic spirit of our guests, the loyalty of our sponsors and the commitment of so many enthusiastic volunteers.
Please join us while we extend our most grateful appreciation and thanks to you: our dedicated guest, who have always supported our efforts and responded with generous donations; our loyal Sponsors, who have consistently participated in the creation of these events, thus allowing us to be better each year; and to our committed volunteers, who have given endless hours of their time to make these memorable experiences happen.
We also wish to acknowledge and thank Morgan Stanley, our Presenting Charity Sponsor, for their unconditional support on this fifth anniversary of The Quail. With their amazing support, The Quail will be able to continue it efforts in supporting these worthwhile charities.
The California Highway Patrol 11-99 Foundation provides assistance to the families of fallen officers and special scholarships programs as well. Established in 1981, the non-profit foundation has distributed almost $6 million to those families in need. The Quail is very grateful for all that the CHP does throughout the year and, in particular, the special help they provide during the busy August automotive week. Contact Mike Elder, (408)496-1720

Friends of Carmel Unified Schools
With the funding assistance of Wells Fargo Investments, Quail has made substantial donations to various programs for this school district. Not only programs for after school academic support, one on one coaching, tutoring, counseling and mentoring but also scholarship funds for students who would not be able to continue their education to the next level unless they had some financial help.
Rancho Cielo was established in 2000 for the purposes of developing preventative health & social services for at-risk youth in Monterey County. The vision is to create a “one stop shop”, representing a collaborative partnership between youth, their parents, community members, law enforcement agencies, social service programs, education, private sector businesses and other interested partners. Some of the programs include daily educational vocational training, mentoring programs, hands on computer training, automobile repair, horse rehabilitation, and all aspects of the culinary industry. Rancho Cielo is located in Salinas on approximately 100 acres overlooking the Salinas Valley. Contact Judge John Phillips, (831) 444-3533.
